My Nanna has been been in trealgen in Malaysia
for the past 6 weeks and today we picked her up from the airport...
She went to go visit her daughter (my aunt) in malaysia
as she married a malaysian 10 years ago and has been living overseas for the past three years.
My Nanna is very sick with a Heart condition as well as diabeties and got terribly Ill while in malaysia..she wanted to visit her daughter over in malaysia at least once ...because with her health she may not be able to travel agian
My heart broke for my nanna as I watched her stuggle down the airoplane stairs and then to be lifted into a wheelchair to be brought into the terminal... I had not seen her so sick ....
Between australia and malaysia it is about 32 hours
and she had not had any sleep since 4 am the day before coming home
the airports are massive in malaysia and she had to change so many aircraft...
when they had wheeled her up to us she got out of the chair shaking ...so glad to see my mother and my partner as well as myself happy for her to be home
she immediately need to sit down again and covered her face with her hands and began to cry choking on her words as she was trying to appologise... mum and I rushed over and grasped her and began crying too
we was crying for her and also because we was so happy to see her.
she was so scared she wasnt going to make it home
quietly ... we were too, but we have our nanna back safe and sound
Hopefully her health can improve now she is home....we know we have to prepare for the day nanna does leave us
as death is always inevitible but nanna seems to keep kicking strong (even if the doctors tell her to take it easy LOL)....
i just wanted to share that with you guys as it is something so incredible that i have never felt before.
